4-way intersection

I found this on FL hurricane prepare site.
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/storm/content/storm/slideshows/graphics/intersection.html
I thought it would help our 4-way until I watched number 3.
Does anyone in FL know left from right!

The Problem is that most of our
resident drivers' do not excercise
"Common Courtesy" period!!!
They seem to ignore, the rights of
the first auto that has approached
the stop sign, whether it's 4 way,
or not..It also has been my experience to have cars cut in front of mine, upon exiting the E
gate, south bound ( they sneak up
along side in the north bound lane)
Where are they rushing to?

I knew this was the law, but when I clicked on No. 3 in the diagram on the screen, it seemed to me that both cars reached the intersection at the same time, but the vehicle on the LEFT went ahead first instead of the vehicle on the right (as should have been the case).

Also, I have been first car in the LEFT lane at Haverhill gate, intending to go left (north) on Haverhill, when, as I make the left turn, a car comes from out of nowhere on my right and tries to get by me on the right side. This is okay if I am going up the left lane of Haverhill, but sometimes I am headed for the right lane so I can turn right on Community. The car will still try to sqeeze by me on the RIGHT.

Where these cars come from—from behind me or from the right lane making a left turn—I don't know. I'm not a slowpoke driver. These are obviously impatient people.

Hey!! who tinkered with my post by drawing diagrams on it, is nothing sacred!
My original point that Lanny spotted (and I did not fully explain, my bad) was that the safety experts who put up the safety website did not know their left from right. Their verbiage for cars arriving at same time, sez cars on left yield, and animation showed cars on right yield!! Crazy Florida.
