Exodus

In view of the economy etc. has anyone gotten concessions, discounts, reduced prices from Seacrest, Gallagher, Pruitt, Prime … I can hope can’t I? News of any savings would be welcome.
Why the photo ! – I just hope they can extricate the truck from CV. There will be unit for sale in a no rent, no dog building shortly.

Our contract with ### ended, they are offering us the next 2 years at no increase in their charges. (Management, accounting, maintenance, landscaping.)

Hi A Nony Mouse
Aug 24, 2009 5:44:00 PM,

It is common practice, here in CV, for Seacrest Services (a major provider) to write 5 year contracts wherein there are two years with no increases.

A major provider? It seems to me that are about the only provider!

Take my word for it fair competition brings down prices!

Prime Management gives Seacrest a run for its money, and does not pay a kick back to Association Preidents for a contract.

Why aren't the various association attempting to combine their buying and increase their power when negotiating!

I'm sure that many associations have common expenses.

anon 9/1 ---ah, that would mean working together in harmony, teamwork--looking at the big picture, foregoing personal grievances for the common good ---making decisions based on facts and figures as opposed to "it's always been this way" or fear of the unknown and the new

Thank you Margaret. It's good to know that someone else is on the same page.

I ran a small electronics manufacturing company for 25 years. I would never purchase a major item or contract anything out without three bids or at least 3 inquiries!

By the way I brought the company out of bankruptcy.
