According to the title link, the latest version of the Firefox browser, now in beta, uses less memory than the latest version of Internet Explorer.

Foxit Reader

I am going to replace Adobe acrobat reader (87.6mb) with Foxit reader (3mb). It occurred to me that Chris might also be interested in this, since she has had Adobe headaches in the past. Foxit does NOT have frequent updates. I have heard good things about Foxit. I will let you know if there are any untoward occurrences from this test.
I still have Adobe Flash Player 9 Active X on the pc, I wonder if that is essential!!
Tinkering with the pc is a lot like gambling for me.
