N. County Senior Center

My neighbors say good things about the North County Senior Center (NCSS). They are picked up from their CV condos, the bus ride is free.
Invitation: The NCSS is located at 5217 Northlake Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens. We are open Mon-Friday from 8am to 5pm. Transportation is available thru Palm Tran Connection and a noon meal is served by making reservations one day in advance. We offer many classes including mah jongg, bridge, oil painting, wood carving, crafts, ball room dance, line dance, exercise, and much more. If you have any questions please call Debbie or Patty at the center at 694-5435. Thank You.
Also Silver Sneakers, tap dance, one-stroke painting, china painting, quilt club, Legal Aid Society, flea market.

PBIA Cell Phone Free Parking Lot

A kind friend sent me this info for incoming family.
If you pick your company up at PBIA airport, did you know that there is a cell phone lot that you can wait and you don't have to pay. It was established just for the people that are waiting for their guests to call them on their cell phones when they are ready to be picked up at the baggage claim. Many people don't know about it. It is right off Florida Mango. So if you were coming down Belvedere, you would pass the Airport, pass Congress and then the next street is Florida Mango. You would turn right on Florida Mango, and make an immediate left to park in the Cell Phone lot. It is free of charge, whereas if you park on the side of the road waiting for the call, you could get a ticket.

GOOD TAXI SERVICE

I had very good service from American Eagle Taxis, flat rate trips to all the airports, they have GPS too. PBIA is $12 from CV, better than circuitous Shuttle rides and other taxis that sit at the gate while the meter rolls by $20.
