It will be nice to see this blog grow and allow real people to ask questions and then to be able to answer them and not be accused of being negative. It will also be nice to see when Dave does some real research and publishes it for us, not to be put down for what has then been said was his opinion. There is fact and opinion, both are valuable and can be productive. Bring it on.

Congratulations Dave! You really have done a wonderful job! I am interested in how the statistics are available to you. How do you know what countries people are in when they visit the blog? Is it that easy to be tracked when going into different sites?

Hi Chris,
To make a long story short, yes, it is very easy to trace every transmission on the WWW.
The principal tool used to do this is called; Traceroute.

traceroute is a computer network tool used to determine the route taken by packets across an IP (INTERNET Protocol)network. An IPv6 variant, traceroute 6, is also widely available.

The traceroute tool is available on practically all Unix-like operating systems. Variants with similar functionality are also available, such as tracepath on modern Linux installations and tracert on Microsoft Windows operating systems. Windows NT-based operating systems also provide path-ping, which provides similar functionality.

GOOGLE BLOGS have these tools built into the BLOG coding, the data developed is available to the BLOG Administrators and I will make it available to you all each month.
