FREEBIE COCONUTS

The one thing that WAS really nice here was to go out and pick one coconut a day and drink the juice. It is awesomely healthy, see nutrition online. “A coconut a day keeps the urologist away” tropical people know that. Lots of people know and were enjoying our crop. Today UCO is paying to have food destroyed. Hurry out if you want to pick up a few unbroken coconuts, now dirty on the ground.
If they want to cut high nuts okay, but they are cutting all WRONG AND STUPID.
They are cutting green fronds that feed the palm WRONG AND STUPID.
They have mulched up to the palms, which causes fungus and destruction of the trees WRONG AND STUPID. There are Master Gardeners on the Beautification Cmte. Who know better.
Excuse me I snapped

Why were coconut palms planted here, if not for our benefit, why not some ornamental palm? Coconut water is an excellent tonic for the old and sick.
The military guys will probably know that the liquid inside young coconuts is useful as blood plasma substitute and is readily accepted by the body. It was often a life saver in Pacific battles when there were no blood transfusions available.

Coconut water’s unique nutritional profile gives it the power to balance body chemistry, ward off disease, fight cancer, and retard aging. Published medical research and clinical observation have shown that coconut water:
Makes an excellent oral rehydration sports beverage
Aids in exercise performance
Reduces swelling in hands and feet
Aids in kidney function and dissolves kidney stones
Protects against cancer
Helps balance blood sugar in diabetics
Provides a source of ionic trace minerals
Improves digestion
Contains nutrients that feed friendly gut bacteria
Helps relieve constipation
Reduces risk of heart disease
Improves blood circulation
Lowers high blood pressure
Improves blood cholesterol levels
Helps prevent atherosclerosis
Prevents abnormal blood clotting
Possesses anti-aging properties
Restores strength and elasticity to skin
Reduces discolored aging spots on skin
Reduces wrinkles and sagging skin
Enhances healing of wounds and lesions
Supports good vision and prevents glaucoma
Contains potent antioxidants
Enhances immune function
Coconut water is a refreshing beverage that comes from coconuts. It’s a powerhouse of nutrition containing a complex blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, carbohydrates, antioxidants, enzymes, health enhancing growth hormones, and other phytonutrients.
Because its electrolyte (ionic mineral) content is similar to human plasma, it has gained international acclaim as a natural sports drink for oral rehydration. As such, it has proven superior to commercial sports drinks. Unlike other beverages, it is completely compatible with the human body, in so much that it can be infused directly into the bloodstream. In fact, doctors have used coconut water successfully as an intravenous fluid for over 60 years.

Its all done by searching the internet online.
Here is a little more, George L came thru the Philippines - I guess nothing rubbed off on him.
Considered the most useful tree in the world, the coconut palm provides food, drink, clothing, shelter, heirloom history, and financial security. Hardly an inch of the coconut palm goes to waste in countries such as the Philippines where families rely on the coconut palm for survival and refer to it as the "tree of life." The Indonesians say, "There are as many uses for the coconut as there are days in the year."
