Kudos to Beautification Cmte for bird box plans. When we get around to letting vegetation grow on the shores of our waterways and perhaps making small islands in shallow areas we might enjoy something like this. Nature lovers allow several minutes. http://groverphoto.phanfare.com/slideshow.aspx?username=groverphoto&album_id=304621
Sandhill crane pics were taken in the Suntree area south of Titusville. Robert Grover, a dentist, didn't actually catch the birth but, he got some great shots (the second egg never hatched). Then he put together a slide show with music.
(Testing, I got error when I tried to add enclosure link!)

Hi Elaine,
Absolutely stunning!
Where do you think our Village pair nests?

Hi Elaine,
The code for the option to include related URLs and podcasting enclosure links with each of your posts, has been enabled, so I do not know why you got an error. If it happens again, please Copy/Paste the error in a comment and I will try to run it down.
Dave
Won't the alligators get the birds in the bird houses? PC
Bird houses are usually atop tall poles.
