Please remember many of the people who may have computers may also be seasonal residents. No one knows for sure what the number of computer USERS is for sure.

Did anyone notice that 52 assoc. didn't vote in the election. This is amazing. Don't these Assoc. have a delegate or are these people to brain dead or lazy to vote. Mike

From this month minutes, CV computer club members - 145 winter residents + 107 permanent residents, presumably using their computers.

Maybe we should Waterboard an officer of the computer club to get it's member list. lol

I have talked to many CV residents all whom read this blog but have been unable to get to post. They say its very confusing and almost impossible to get on. This includes my sister. She has tried but with no success. Is there easy instructions we can give these residents. The last instructions were very difficult to follow. I am sure If made easier we would have many many more CV residents posting. Like I previously said all that I talk to read but don't post.

Have you used the instructions in the left column of the Blog, right now they are sitting across from your comment??

anon, If I posted you must know I got on, I am not talking about me I am talking about all the others who find it difficult, I am sure they can read and have read the instructions but it is almost impossible to get a google account unless you have 4 or 5 hours to deal with it.Try talking to a few people who have tried. I have and they have given up. For one ask Norma.

Hi Marilyn, I don't remember it being that difficult. But that was so long ago now, I may be remembering wrong. I think I just put in my Yahoo email address and then picked a password and that was all there was to it.

But this is a very serious problem that we have to get resolved. We want these people and look forward to their posts.
CV Blogger, what can we do?
Chris

Maybe if Dave tells us what to do, some of us could go to the people's condos and help them to get on for the first time. Does that sound crazy?

If you are having trouble getting a Google account in order to join the Blog I would be glad to visit you and try to help. I would only follow the instructions that are on the left side of the Blog (no miracles). You can reach me at wanderbrit@yahoo.com
I am not a teacher or repair person. The Computer Club has many people who could also show you Google accounts. Sometimes the swirled letters can be a challenge but there is not much to it.
