I hasten to disagree!

If your mind-set is restrictions and anti-Democratic process, yes a Communications channel is a problem to run.

If the channel is open and permissive, like this BLOG, it is simple to run, in fact it runs itself.

The CV Q & A needs to be run by a Communicator, not an Autocrat.

It is obvious that with Carole's resignation the officers present and those to be elected shortly will have to address the Q&A and its future. Perhaps the best thing is to let the matter rest at this time and look to the future. Commenting good or bad about the past will not accomplish anything but to create more rancor. What was, was and is over . Now lets look to the future. Who ever takes the leadership of the Q&A will most likely ask for ideas and suggestions on what it should and would be. I am sure there are qualified people out there to step in.
