Open letter to Ms. Tetro, Treasurer - Budget

Ms. Tetro, now that two full weeks have passed, perhaps you might explain why:
1. You failed your fiduciary to attend meetings that were properly called.
2. Failed to regularly attend and perform your regular duties.
3. Made comments that you would resign and have not yet done so.
4. Failed to hold finance meetings in preparation for the budget process, or if you held meetings, failed to notice there were open to the public.
5. Since the Audit reports is not yet completed, please Ms Tetro, Treasurer or former President Loewenstein give us a full breakdown on how much we finally paid for the unapproved law suit, arbitration, mediation, etc. Surely by now you have received the final billing from Ms. Bleu’s firm? Please share the sources of the funds to pay that amount as well, please.

This is the reason why we need professional management in the Village. Why do we have to beg  to get an accounting of our money from the so-called volunteer. Some of these volunteers have been messing with your money, your brain , your existence and your soul.
WAKE UP PEOPLE
That free service that you think you are getting is really really really expensive. For our sake  I hope Ms. Tetro is better at accounting than at performing her responsibilities as an officer at UCO.Just because some of you call her nice doesn't make her so.

Do you think that Ms Tetro colluded with former Prez Loewenstein in her disappearance last week -
If she had been at that first officer meeting they would have had a quorum, could have picked a president, who could have picked 2 VPs, and UCO and the village would have continued relatively peacefully until Delegates were ready to approve.
Instead we were thrown into a bucket of confusion, lies, and unanswered questions.
For the want of a nail ... the kingdom was lost.

Former Prez Lowenstein is that unfortunate kind of manager who creates chaos and drama to make himself feel as if he is accomplishing something, then he can pretend to rescue us , at great $$ cost. Jeez!

In view of your recent actions
which you are aware of, you have
caused this community to question
your ability to handle our financial matters. You ACCEPTED
the position of "Treasurer",
unconditionally, was this just to
fullfill the position, and in fact
the ACTUAL ACCOUNTING being done
by another individual who is currently unavailable? I certainly
hope NOT! However, this situation
does REINFORCE, the need for OUTSIDE MANAGEMENT! as well as "Forensic Accounting"

SOMEONE else, did the accounting?

The most important thing at this time is to concentrate our energies on getting DAVE ISRAEL ELECTED. We can dea with Tetro and Loewenstein later.

With regard to item 5. How can it be unapproved if it was brought to the delegates and passed at a delegate meeting ( if i recall correctly)?

Isn't it interesting that the accusations are made by Anon y mous.

I clearly have a disagreement with the way Channel 63 operates!
I have never denigrated Howie Silver, in fact I shall repeat that he works hard for UCO and deserves respect for that.
I firmly believe that UCO has a mandate for each area of UCO, including Channel 63 to OPERATE WITHIN A COMMITTEE set-up for that very purpose. No one should operate alone! The Delegate Assembly should have a voice on how we best inform our residents on ALL ISSUES. The century Village Web Site would be the place for MOST ANNOUNCEMENTS, especially since the resident living here year around could print important notices or if no computer is available partner with another Association resident to make certain notices are routinely posted.

Working as a team would bring talent to the discussion and allow all views to be expressed. This does NOT happen on the Channel 63 Committee of the ONE. At no time was the subject ever openly discussed at the Delegate Assembly, where it should be.

The music is not the issue when the delegate Assembly stated it wanted Channel 63 back in operation. Clearly we are on a learning curve, because Mr. Silver has refused some of the help offered to make his job easier and he has received 5 separate offers from me to help on channel 63, notwithstanding the misinformation of Mrs. Silver from the stage on Wednesday claiming that no one offered to help. Had Mr. Silver provided for others to be ready to step into fill his shoes when he resigned, delay would not have occurred, and that is the responsibility of each Officer of UCO. I firmly believe this does not rise to the level of “trashing people”, sorry Howie.

I do not respect the performance on stage Friday 7-11- where he yelled at people that “if you don’t like it there’s the door”. However anyone who has worked for UCO should be shown respect and have the appreciation of the residents for the very fact they tried to help this Village. That does not mean we should reward such outrageous behavior and reelect him either.

That’s my view and I have not filed it as anonymous, either.

Don't forget "I'm the chair this meeting and can do what I want!" Has no respect for the Delegates or the rules.
