Fill empty spots with people who (in no particular order) -
Have integrity
Enjoy public service
Can think and speak clearly
Good IQ and can use computer for research
Skilled
Have complete CV documents and understand them
Sense of humor and optimistic
Cooperate well with others
Have vision, confidence, persistence
Leave religion at home
Do not cling to old autocratic ways
Communicate, communicate, communicate.
Why not!

if such a person exists in the village, we must run this person for president of the U.S.

It is wonderful to dream, because sometimes dreams come true.

Based on some of the things posted on this forum one would have to be out of their mind to want to be President of UCO.

Need people not afraid of change and improvement.
Give people kicked by George priority, they are not apathetic
If we have 250 volunteers, who and where are they? If they are not helpful they need to go. Apologies to the 10% we see working hard.
to moggi, Not all the UCO volunteers are seen each day. Many work behind the scenes on committees etc. I suggest that you get a list of the committee persons and look at the total numbers.
Hopeful and co, congratulations you must be the only group in the USA not consumed with concern about looks, fashion, and makeovers.
I was hoping for some of those first post characteristics, not all.
anon to me, I hope records are more available from now on, I will try again, see my comment on July 10 and the UCO death grip.
The Purpose of UCO shall be - To protect and carry out the common rights.. etc.of unit owners. Anyone who does not want to be a ‘public servant’ in a not-for-profit organization should get out of UCO.
to ElaineB, I like all of the qualifications you mentioned, but a this point - I'll settle for still breathing. I wonder if that guy qualifies that uses the big words.

He has all the qualifications. I think we should let him have 'egregious arrogations ye selquelae' on the blog but not in UCO meetings. Apart from that he is practically perfect in every way. Tah Dah!

Ahem! ... Transformational leaders focus on the big picture, needing to be surrounded by people who take care of the details. The leader is always looking for ideas that move the organization to reach the company’s vision.
I was speaking only of good people to drag UCO out of its ****, and CV out of apathy.
But score one for Mike, still hopeful apparently needs you!
