REMOVAL OF NEGATIVE POSTS FROM THE BLOG

The Poll on this issue has closed and the vote is as follows:


For Removal of Negative posts: 15 (44%)

Against Removal of Negative posts: 20 (57%)

Hence the record shall remain as it is; unmodified.

This vote, while decisive, was not what one might consider a landslide, it suggests that there is a strong component of the Electorate that favors a toning down of the rhetoric and invective that has marked the BLOG from time to time.

I agree, that the time has come for those opposed to an issue to act as a "loyal Opposition".

This is easily accomplished by framing criticism in a constructive and respectful way.

The goal, of course, is to act for the benefit of the Village; all voices need to be heard, this is best accomplished by dialing down the noise level.
