Why are the bus drivers not required to follow the 25 mph speed limit?
This is true for many vehicles such as US Mail and outside contractors.

When a bus is seen breaking any law the observing person should call the phone number on the bus and leave a message for Janice noticing the infraction, the bus number/name and the date and time.
If no one calls to report this the management of the bus company can not be aware.
Drop a dime--it will help.
Very simple, there is no LEGAL speed limit in CV.
Thanks Bob
The contact information for the Community Transit Inc. is: Janice at 561-797-5591. There is only bus number information on the busses but the security officer at the clubhouse provided the telephone number.
25 MPH is the posted speed limit....maybe the signs should be larger so that they can be seen and read.
If you cannot read the already large speed limit signs you should not be driving anything!
Large has nothing to do with it. There is a LEGAL way to install signs, and UCO is installing illegal signs.
(ps) take any traffic violation you get in CV to court. Point out to them that the signs are illegal...your case will be dismissed.
Why are the signs alleged to be illegal. Forget about the signs, some people are just driving recklessly fast in this community.
That is the bottom line.
Most people driving fast are workers who do not live here. I have also seen many aids being picked up and dropped off by drivers that are very disrespectful to our community laws. Mary
I am confused. If the signs are not legal, how can the Sheriff's Patrols give out citations and they do. Both for speeding and running our stop signs
The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, or MUTCD defines the standards used by road managers nationwide to install and maintain traffic control devices on all streets and highways. The MUTCD is published by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) under 23 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 655, Subpart F.
Accordingly, the base of the 'speed limit' and 'stop' signage must not be installed less than 7ft. and 5ft. respectively from the ground level.
Attention Mary:
I do not follow "community laws".
I follow Palm Beach County Laws, State of Florida Laws and The United States of America Laws.
Now your getting it Ken.
Traffic control by the police is a civil function. Since UCO is not legal, they have no legal authority to call the police in on private prioperty on civil matters. The police have no legal authority to issue tickets.
Therefore, the police are criminals.
And all their actions just add to the racketeering charge.
( Remember, UCO is still a front for Levy so Levy can steal millions from the elderly, but that's OK, because Levy gives money to Israel, Right ??
Hey anonymous 9:55,
this sounds like a Madoff deal!!!!
