at the Delegate' Assembly Meeting, by the Nominating Committee Chair, who stated
that " The candidate's Bio did not want the fact that you graduated from MIT or
Princeton, or anything like that" Adhering to that request, my bio, that was submitted for publication in the Reporter,(received today,) detailed MY involvement
in Century Village ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UNLIKE the MAJORITY of Candidates,
endorsed by the committee, who submitted every detail, short of their sexual preference and current romantic involvement, I complied, leaving me at a
disadvantage. My Bio is posted elsewhere on this site, but does not reach the
masses, am I to conclude this was deliberate, or the usual ERROR?

Hi Bettie,
I submitted my Bio before there was any announcement of what is apparently, a change in policy, by the Nominating Committee.
Hence, it is choc full of stuff which is utterly irrelevant to serving here in CV.
The forms that were distributed as recently as last year suggested input was desired on Education and working career background.
This change in desired format should have been announced well in advance.

Please don't be frustrated Bettie. Both of us left out the 'irrelevent' details of our previous life (B.C.V. - Before Century Village) as per the change in biographical submission policy by the Nominating Committee.
Twenty-two candidates for twenty volunteer positions in a Village the size of a small city. The Nominating Committee may soon be adopting an additional function as a 'Search Committee'.
Good luck in the election Bettie, we need more bright and motivated individuals like yourself.
You can be assued it was deliberate to put new people at a disadvantage
