MEA CULPA, MEA CULPA, MEA MAXIMA CULPA!

Hi all.

In another Post an anonymous contributor stated that the President of UCO makes the UCO VP's swear not to publish on this BLOG.

I have now heard from two VP's, Ken Davis and Frank Cornish; that this is false.

It goes without saying that we must remove the offending post.

The farther reaching consequence may be that we will have to eliminate anonymous posting altogether.

Please think twice before posting false "information"

Dave Israel

PS:

Since there are no such restrictions on UCO VP Posting, it would be nice if they would indeed respond to Unit Owner questions here!!!

Agreed.

Anonymous should go by the wayside.

With anonymous out of the way, the rest of you can live out your feel-good b.s. and make this blog as useless as the Forum.

I was hoping you would keep the oath story and mark it as CV urban legend, rumor, or gossip. There are lots of wacky stories around the village.
Good luck with your 'would be nice..'

Check out the facts before you post. Then you would not need a mea culpa.

LETS BE REAL...I HOPE EVERYONE DOESN'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY READ...THEY SHOULD CHECK THINGS OUT FOR THEMSELVES...JUST LIKE THE PAPER..

Dear Dave, I put 20+ hours a week in the office of UCO. If anyone has a question they can call me at the Uco office (683-9189) or at my home(reasonable hours) and I will give them an answer and if I don't know for sure I will get an answer for them. I don't have much time left to check the blog everyday.

Hi Frank,
Feb 17, 2009 10:10:00 PM,

This has always been the GL algorithm: "Come into the Office and we will answer your question"

Ok; let's look at that approach:

1) How many others in CV have the same question and don't get the benefit of the one-on-one answer.

This linear approach is unacceptable in the Cyber age: questions answered here are seen by many.

Under any condition, many people do not even know what questions to ask; because for the most part, UCO operates in little meetings in closed rooms and the Unit owners hear nothing of the decisions as to how their money is spent.

If you have time to answer questions one-on-one; you have time to put the answers on this BLOG and thus talk to many.

The idea of having a "Contact-Us" widget was a good one, Questions come into UCO and, hopefully, those with the answers reply and perhaps, once monthly, the questions and answers are published on the CV Website and the UCO Reporter. What happened to that Idea? I offered to activate it on this BLOG, and the offer was rejected with no reason given.

The times they are a changing and it can't come to soon for me!

What do you all have to fear, that
the only way you can express your
feelings is to post as "Anonymous"?
Peer condemnation? from whom?

INFORMATION
Too much or too little,
facts are disguised;

FACTS
Too few or too many,
truth is disguised;

TRUTH
So much exists,
so little is known.
