GOLF COURSE CLOSES

Yes, I noticed they seem to be taking down the trees on Haverhill near Okeechobee. After opposing development we ought to explore deals we can live with before some bankruptcy judge imposes something worse.

That's a tragedy. One of main reason's I bought in century village disappears. While it's been in terrible shape the last few years, while it was still operating there was hope it might be improved. Now who knows what will follow, but it's a pretty safe bet it won't be anything to improve the saleability of our property.

My only hope is that the entire boundaries will be secured, protected and spaced so our residents will have complete privacy and comfort. About property values are we to think of it at this stage of our lives my neighor up north he also worries about this I told him his only concern should be about his buriel plat if you know what I mean?

SECURITY should be the issue now. I have seen today, Saturday people on the range....Southampton, Greenbrier and golfs edge of no REAL security????

I said on the Blog a year ago that gun towers should be erected on the CV perimeter . The gun club can hold classes on the use and maintenance of firearms. Sentries should be placed in the towers 24/7armed with 50 caliber machine guns. We may be older citizens but we are not defenseless unless we choose to be.
Remember always shot to kill, a wounded enemy can still kill you.

Any update on the golf course? Will they be building anything soon? Or is it going to start growing tall grass and look like a dump.
